MEDICAL DEVICES IN MALAYSIA SHOUL
From the 1st of January 2018, registration of Medical Devices in Malaysia will be applied. All the import and export activities related to medical devices need to meet the requirements of registration under section 5 of Act 737. All companies should complete this stage of registration before 31st October 2017. After the 1st of January 2018, only the registration certificate of medical devices will be the proof for any health institution. Any other documents won’t be accepted as supporting documents for purchasing medical devices, which means that products that are not registered under the Act won’t be able to sell, either imported or exported.
